Thoughts on Exploring (Robert Macfarlane)
The photo above is me with Captain Ken Murray sailing our steel-hulled yawl, La Cuna. That journey was for me a true initiation into new ways of thinking and being. I am currently working to publish a memoir about it, titled Sailing Between Sea and Sky: What I Learned from the Ocean about Life on Earth. You would be right if you suspect that ideas in the "Everything Moves" excerpt (in the Writing section of this website) arise from inner and outer explorations involved in several years living with Ken on water.
Maybe someday we will meet in person for shared explorations of our worlds!
